Hands free soap water dispenser

 This is a 'hands-free' era. "Don't Touch" warning sign is everywhere. In supermarkets, beauty parlors, taxi stands, temples, and in pharmacies, we see this sign.

Besides the warning signboard, we see a bottle of sanitizer. To spray the sanitizing liquid onto your palms, you have to grab the plastic dispenser!

There, you just encountered a risk of contracting a virus.

How about this handy solution? Below is the 'hands-free' soap or any liquid dispenser. Contactless sanitization is going to be implemented everywhere.

Most of the residential communities in India have installed pedal-press sanitizer dispensers.

I like this hands-free soap dispenser. It has infrared sensors that detect a hand near it and allow a few drops of the stored soap solution to drop on to your palm.

Nice idea-eh?

Innovative transparent face mask.

 Protective face masks are sold everywhere in the world. You can find them in drug stores, supermarkets, online shops, and even on pavements.

You get all kinds of covid masks; their price is ranging from Rs.10 to Rs.350

Yes, they are protective alright but there are two main drawbacks when wearing face masks.

1. It hinders the eyesight

2. It makes you unrecognizable.

I have been waved at by so many people in my neighbourhood but I simply cannot recognize the face behind the mask. I wonder how many of them thought I am rude.

Now comes a transparent face mask that doesn't hide the wearers' mouth. You can even see their smile behind the mask.

The name of the transparent face mask is "Inochi".

See a video of Inochi transparent face mask below.

Beautiful moonlight in your children's room.

I was watching the feedback of children after visiting a science exhibition. The interactive show on TV was efficiently anchored by a young man who seemed to have the knack of bringing out the best in every child. In addition, he was genuinely amazed at some of the things that the children remembered seeing in the science educational cum entertainment show.

One of exhibits was a replica of a moon on the wall of a bedroom with light emitting from the gadget that looked surprisingly similar to moon light!

Fancy lights for children's room.

I suddenly recalled where I have seen it too. It was in Tamil film. I too liked it very much and resolved to find its availability and the price. I forgot it promptly. The TV show made me to get away from the TV immediately and I sat in front of my PC and sought the help of the ever dependable Google to show me the artificial moonlight.

Ah, there it was, in Amazon ‘The moon in myroom”.

Amazon product description says, “Enjoy the shining beauty of the moon right at home with Uncle Milton's Moon in My Room. This realistic moon model hangs on your wall and lights up to show the different phases of the moon. Recommended for children ages six and older, Moon in My Room lets you experience the awe-inspiring sight of our moon at any time.”

Drug free back pain treatment with wireless portable device.

I feel the pain whenever my husband winces in pain due to muscle spasms on his left leg. He has been living with the pain for over two years even after consuming hundreds of nerve stimulator tablets. It is pity that he is yet to try the TENS method (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) that is so popular in the U.S.

Of course a crude version of the treatment is available here in Madras that not many prefer due to getting tied up by clumsy wires and that sticky gel gives one a queasy feeling.

Recently I read about a portable TENS device that comes without any cords. What a great invention! I believe it is ideal for those suffering from chronic back pain, rheumatoid arthritis and even fibromyalgia. I am sure millions of people would find to be an ideal pain reliever without any medicines.

This means absolutely no side effects!

 Drug free back pain treatment with wireless portable device.

Look at this two piece wireless TENS machine. The bigger part is the massager that is attached on the area of treatment and the other one is a hand held remote. It is a battery operated device and that battery is supposed to last 150 sessions of 30 minutes each! Wow! One may not use the machine for that long.

TENS wireless is definitely safe to use and also is very discreet. See how you can use the wireless TENS pain reliever.

Egg is cooked to look like a roll!

Some people can't even make a perfectly shaped egg omelet.  They make a clumsy job of it. Are you one of them? I am with you too.

Therefore, why eggs need to be cooked the same way> Why not something different; as different as an ice cream? I mean, can you make an egg that looks like an ice cream on a stick?
egg on a stick

Some genius thought on these lines and invented a kitchen gadget that turns a egg into a sausage! I think the inventor saw hot dogs are the best sellers on street corners. He thought children would love to eat an ehh that is rolled.

This is fantastic!Very innovative kitchen gadget.

Water Cooled stand Laptop works but...

I read about water cooled laptop stand several months ago. People rushed to buy it to save their laptop from burning out inside due to heat.

Laptop had this chronic issue but nothing could be done till a water cooled stand for laptop was developed. The laptop users declared it as a big breakthrough.

Thought the concept worked, it seems it backfired.

Read an interesting observation here.

Boil eggs without water!

That is a boiled egg sitting snugly in its holder. You are wondering what is special about it to make it to a blog post-right?

The specialty is this egg was boiled without water! Only those who have regularly boiled eggs in their kitchen know it is a time consuming work.

Something about the inventor of this device called "Eggxactly"
 It is designed by James Seddon from England. Eggxactly contains two stretchable silicone heating elements – one on each side of the egg – that are said to transfer heat to the egg very efficiently.

This is not your usual office desk; it is a manicure table!
Such an exclusive manicure table is seen only in professional SPA parlors and high end resorts with all the trimmings.

However, when I read the description of this Cambridge Manicure Table at spaequip.com, it resembled the description of any office table.

So, then, why it is called a Manicure Table?

Excellent travel guide to Coorg-the Scotland of India

I am very happy to note that my good friend Krishna Kumar aka KK has authored his first travel guide titled, Explore Coorg-the Scotland of India". It is heartening to note that he has listed his book in Amazon.

I have known KK for some years now. He maintains a travel blog called, "Indian Columbus".

His book on Coorg explores every nook and corner of the hill. Since he has personally visited all the places of Coorg, he is able to give first hand information on places to see, where to stay and what to eat. The book has many beautiful pictures of Coorg.

Some of the places in Coorg covered by KK such as Abbi Falls, Tala Cauvery, are familiar to me when I visited Coorg long back. The path to Abby falls is surrounded by coffee plantations.

I remember he planned to start a blog on cameras. I hoe he starts it soon.

I sincerely wish his becomes a best selling travel guide in Amazon.

Starbucks coffee in India

Coffee lovers in India should be eagerly awaiting the opening of the first Starbucks outlet. Mumbaikars are lucky as they get the first chance to taste the world's best coffee. Tata Global Beverages Limited has tied up with Starbucks.

Starbucks has nearly 18,000 outlets in as many as 60 countries. Our neighbor China has 700 Starbucks outlets. India is latest addition.

I have heard about Starbucks coffee a lot and even wrote a couple of blog posts and got paid for them. Personally, I wonder how the Madras coffee lovers would react to Starbucks coffee as I believe the standard of coffee in Tamilnadu is very high already.

However, I don't know whether local Government would allow global retail outlets to start their business.

May be I can go over to Bombay just to taste the Starbucks coffee as it would be much cheaper than going to China.

Initially, the coffee range include:
* Starbucks’ espresso-based beverages,
* Starbucks VIA Ready Brew
* Starbucks Reserves
* Tata Tazo tea
* Himalayan mineral water (products of TGBL).

I believe there are 14 different coffee varieties served at all Starbucks outlets.

Watch a video of how a Starbuck coffee is brewed, dispensed and served.
