I am not a big TV watcher but when it comes to watching cricket, I forget or in fact I reject food and prefer snacks only. Well, like millions of people, I half finish my daily work at home chores and take refuge in the giant bean bag in front of the TV.
As a problogger, I am all ears and eyes for blog ideas. The new Samsung UA46B7000 LED TV had caught my attention and here I am writing about it.
The advertisement in TV might have resulted in a big sales conversion for Samsung. The Samsung's LED TV is really the slimmest, literally. It seems all its parts are built in space and there is only its body on the TV table.
When I watched the TV ad for the first time, I failed to remember the model; so I looked up in the dependable net and read Samsung LED TVs features.
I learnt these:
They have brought 4 different models and they are:
7 series:
46” – UA46B7000
40” - UA40B7000
6 Series:
46” – UA46B6000
40” - UA40B6000
Well, for most viewers the size and the price only matters. I am definitely among the ‘most viewers’ category. However, lot of TV viewers and especially the younger generation are shrewder and they look beyond just the screen size.
For their interest:
A. Actual Width of the LED TV is 2.99 cm,
B. 100 Hz Motion plus,
C. crystal design, (instead of “Touch of color” that is used in US.)
D. Samsung WS1* Sound Bar Surround System
Let me be frank. I am speechless when I visualize its slimness. It is needless to say that the color and picture of images are simply stunning.
I am looking forward to bring in that blue Humming Bird in my living room.

LED LCDs are temporary technology. I'm waiting for OLED
Just got a 40" Series7 over the weekend and am loving it. Absolutely fabulous with HD content. Huge upgrade to TV technology, which is great for us consumer. Expect prices to come down later when more manufacturers join in the game.
