Beds shaped like giant animals.

WoW! It is definitely cute. Why babies, even I would like to possess one.
Though children would need time to get used to this scary looking thing, it is surely a creative idea.

Hotels and resorts would love to put up these stuffed beds shaped like giant animals to attract guests.

If there are staff in air lines that think differently, they would grab this idea and design seats for kids and adults too.

There are more such beds; click on the source to view them.

Space saving origami chair; ideal for offices.

Origami art when viewed for the first time is breathtaking. It will be amusing to watch big items getting unfolded from several folds. Someone genius thought why not apply the same concept in producing chairs! When he put his thought into action, this is what he got (see the image alongside).

He calls it as Flux chair. He demonstrated the space saving feature of his invention by stacking as many as 21 chairs one upon another! The whole lot in folded position was just one foot in height!

In addition, he says a single chair can take up to 350 pounds of weight! The actual weight of this origami chair is only 10.60 pounds and it is made of polypropylene.

Extraordinary visualization and conceptualization.

Watch a video demonstration of Origami chair in action.

Magnetic bicycle pedals.

My childhood fantasy is now true. The world geniuses has taken nearly 40 years to receive my thoughts but at last they have received and took action.

When I was learning bicycle, my feet used to slip off the bicycle pedals, throwing me off balance. Oh yeah, you are smiling now because it happened to you too!

How I wished someone would manufacture magnetic shoes that ensure my feet firmly planted on the pedals!

Mevic magnetic bicycle pedals are sort of clipless pedals. By securing your special shoes into the pedal, the clipless pedal provides increased efficiency, allowing you to pedal in circles and pull the pedals up in addition to pushing them down, maintaining a constant, fluid pedaling motion.

Portable tent on a bicycle.

If this innovation had happened some 50 years ago, I am sure we all would have witnessed more adventurers who used to travel around the world in bicycle. I remember seeing quite a few foreigners who were tiredly riding on small bicycle when I was studying schools.

I used to wonder at that time what they will do during night.

The picture shows how a bicycle rider can pitch a tent on a calm countryside and take rest before moving again.

It looks like a waterproof material but don't you think the space is too cramped?

144 hour candle.

This candle that is said to burn on and on for 144 hours should be ideal for Madras residents who go without power for several days during monsoon.

During November and December, the monsoon usually bribgs down torrential rain along with giant trees thus disrupting power lines.

See the picture below.

This candle works under 'rope and clamp’ contraption. All you need to do for the candle to burn for an hour is pull up the rope 3 inches through the cup and clamp.

The Beeswax candle goes out when it reaches the clamp.

Brilliant idea-right?
