Financial aid for distance education?

I too was under the impression that education through online colleges is cost effective when compared to attending campus daily. Recently, an ex-student of mine, who is now settled in Sydney, wrote to me about her experience of studying online. Yes, she paid much more than her sister who attended college in India as a day scholar.

I think there must we ways to cut down the cost of online education. I wonder what are the views of Mike Nylund, Capella University’s financial aid director when he was interviewed recently for the university’s regular podcast titled, “Inside Online Education”

Capella University (www.capella.edu) is an accredited, fully online university that has built its reputation by providing quality education for working adults.

So, if the news and views about financial aid to online courses come from Capella, I think it would have a positive impact on educational loans providers.
